I am a self-taught artist and children’s book author who creates because I cannot imagine life without it. When I paint animals, I feel connected to something deeper. With every piece, my appreciation for the natural world expands, and I hope that feeling carries through to you.
That connection to nature has shaped the heart of my work. Animals and the natural world have always felt like home to me. Forest paths, mountain trails, lakeshores, and the Atlantic coast here in New England continually inspire what I create. Time outdoors fills me with gratitude, and that gratitude finds its way into every piece.
Because inspiration is everywhere, I do not limit myself to one style or medium. Variety keeps me learning and enjoying the process. I move between painting, photography, digital art, assemblage, and storytelling. My style is less about a specific look and more about a feeling. Joy. Wonder. Connection.
And ultimately, it is that feeling that matters most to me. When someone tells me a piece made them smile or pause for a moment, I know it has done what it was meant to do.
